But snow was no mere drug; it was a poison, and its touch corrupted all who used it.

The purest form of snow, untouched by synthesis, was lethal. The souls trapped within would invade the body, waging war on the user’s mind and consuming their essence. Even synthesized snow brought its own brand of torment. Prolonged use darkened the soul, driving users to madness as the voices of the damned whispered endlessly in their ears.

For creatures of the night, the effects of snow were unpredictable.
